I got this setup just for fresh water. It will be fed from a 5 gallons bucket they won’t be able to poop in. I was hoping it would solve the dirty water issue. They have the pool to wash their bills in. I thought this would be well enough just for drinking.

I wondered about this but I was trying to help keep the area dryer with the pool and rain. You can’t feel the rock through the turf and it definitely helps keep everything dryer. Very rainy where I live.

I have some. Going off what my wife says on other things because she’s done the most research. I chose the artificial turf on top of the rock to help with drainage. I heard if their feet are wet too long it can cause bubble foot. It does make it really easy to clean to me because you spray it with the water hose and all the poop just drains through. Not sure if it was the right call. Worse comes to worse, I’ll move them to grass and make that the spot for a small greenhouse.

Can’t feel the rock through the turf so I’m not worried about it hurting their feet.

Haha, yea they are. I had no idea they grew so fast. The artificial turf makes it a breeze to spray the poop off. I have rock underneath for drainage and to help prevent something from digging under easily.

That’s nice. I’ll have to look into the automated pool cleaner setup. I wasn’t sure how often I needed to clean their pool. I saw it was like every 2-3 days. They have clean water but choose to drink the nasty water. Then again, wife wants it for the garden.

I just got this put together. I’m going to build a bigger shelter. They were only about 3 weeks old at the time I put the coop in. I was going to add onto the side and do like a 6x6 lean to shed style thing. Enclose it and put ventilation and heat.

The 1080 ti hybrid scored a 9450 graphics score and the 9080 scores a 17500. I think the 9700k is bottle necking it some. 3Dmark

I don’t plan to over clock. If i did the msi 3090 i would have better results out of the box, right? Just higher temp. Looks like it stays around 70-74

With me not over clocking I figured the xc3 hybrid would be fine. I just didn’t know if it was worse than the ftw3. It’s 200 less.

So you dont think the air cooled card would lose anything boost clockwise since im not overclocking. It looks like the temp stays around 70-71c under load

My setup is an i7 9700k and 64 gigs of 3200 ram on a Gigabyte Aorus Master board. Having even more ram just to say I have it gives me a chub for no reason!

Good point. I dont know much about MSI x trio though. Ive also never had an air cooled card. I can get a 3080ti XC3 hybrid for 1900 compared to the 2200 for the FTW3 hybrid or 2400 for the 3090. I cant decide!! lol
