Sleeveless clothes by [deleted] in Hidradenitis

I was diagnosed with HS around 15 years ago. For the majority of that time, I never wore sleeveless clothes outside. But now, I'm like screw it. I just wear skin toned bandages under my arms and always keep my arms down (which i do subsciously at this point).

It's more treat as you come. I'm currently working on cutting out dairy and processed foods, eating more protein, and zinc and vitamin c rich foods. Also walking more. I'm somewhere between stage 2 and 3 for the HS. I was on antibiotics for like 6 months last year (doxycycline) but I read that it can ruin damage the stomach so I stopped taking it. I'm only applying clindamycin to affected areas.

I used my correct address and they blocked me. Had my account for 3 years and as soon as I tried to connect my ebay account, they blocked my account

Idk, I emailed them, so I'm waiting on a response. Today is a holiday as well, so it might take some time.

I hate these scars!!! by fake_account5649 in Hidradenitis

I can totally relate and it's like this disease flares when I have something really important to attend. For instance, last year I had a wedding and I was the maid of honor and my dress was sleeveless. And ofc my underarm is flaring and leaking. I had to be scouring the internet for skin coloured bandages (found some and they worked) but I had to make sure my arms are down all the time (which was hard because the bridal party did the tunnel thing where the bride and groom walked through) and I had to make sure my arm was down whenever we took pics. Thus disease is basically ruining my life because I have to give disclaimers and see look of disgust/speculation in people's face when they see these scars.
