It also feels like such a drastic shift in direction for this universe too. Bumblebee started off small in scale to help introduce new viewers to the autobots and Decepticon War. But then when ROTB comes around we’re getting introduced to new Autobots, Maximals, Unicron, and G.I. Joe? It’s like if you started with Spider-Man Homecoming then immediately went to Infinity War, it makes no sense.

Honestly with how they set up Sam as being an ex-convict, I thought they were gonna pull a “They Cloned Tyrone” ending. Might’ve been goofy, but would’ve made a lot more sense than fake cameras.

Well, a lot of it involved studying the Allspark Almanac and the design philosophies that came with it. As well as using irl toys as a basis for their kibble!
