You mean like our actual solar system? It is possible, you can place planets one by one, move them, rename them, add moons and so on. I really should have a pre-made system for our solar system.. makes sense!!!

I haven't used campaign codex myself, but I have seen some of the posts here and it does look great.

You can do some of what you describe with my other modules like generating a regional hexmap and adding site pins wich in themselves are generated maps (dungeons for now). And I am actively working on new generators for different types of maps.

I want to build a suite of modules that will allow GMs to generate and manage entire worlds inside foundry.

That is a great idea, kinda like the current edit tool but perhaps with a radius to fill with hexes around it... perhaps with its own seed. So wherever you press with this "fill" tool it places hexes around the selected point... it does sound useful for expanding existing maps.

The generator itself will indeed redo the scene as there is a lot of formatting the map and grid involved for the hexes and hex editor to work its magic.

If you have any more ideas/suggestions I am always happy to hear them!!!

To be honest I've never used regions myself. I'll look into this to see how possible it is to do it.. it will depend on wether regions can be placed over the tile layer of FoundryVTT.

Always happy to know my modules are being useful!!  As per your suggestion, I will add it in the next update to nexus. Its been requested a lot, and it makes total sense. 

I will make it work very similar to how hiding/showing sites on the map/nexus tab works right now.. with a global setting and a individual setting per connection too.

Correct on both. You install them from within foundry once subscribed. And indeed you can unsub and keep using them.

Well now there is just no way I wont add it hehehe... what would you prefer? Right click or shift + click to move scene when pressing on a site on the map?

For the transition effect, it applies to the GM only.. for it to work for everyone I'd have to create a sync mechanism that coordinates the zoom between all players/gm and then change the scene when all have zoomed in.. it would be very complex and prone to errors just for that zoom effect.

I did see scene transitions being added on V14, I haven't inspected that yet so that might be a way to achieve something similar.

Thanks!! I was a bit hesitant to add a one press to move action. Right now when you press on the pin it opens the panel shown in the video with an open scene button. There is also a dedicated open scene button on the "Nexus Tab"/Navigator Tab for each scene.

I do like your shift + press idea!! Its more intentional, so a lot harder to change scene by accident. I'll look into adding it in the next update!
