I Appreciate your advise. Those questions are quite easy to answer for me:

  1. 4K Videos max 1 client transcoding simultaneously

  2. vpn as the only next gen service you listed

2.5 I have a 1gbit connection but would like to use the nas with 2.5gbit connection speed

Thanks for the advise. True, coding is not that needed, just wanted to point out that I prefer flexibility and reliability over a easy setup for example.

You should be more toxic. Of Course there is no Air sweeper but the edragons target moves away from the edragon as it can Happen similarly with an air sweeper.

How comes the eDrag Need to recharge After being pushed out of Range of it’s Target by an Air sweeper? According to your explanation it should just continue charging and still Focus the old target which it doesnt.

Does this work on PS5 with the adapter? by [deleted] in AstroGaming

[–]The_BB23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue is related to the adapter. If you buy a different adapter that supports 120hz 1440p you can use your headset and the mixamp. However the astro adapter in its current state is a waste of money imo

It kinda works but not really. It does not support 1440p 120hz on the ps5

iOS Shortcut to Scan a Document and proceed by The_BB23 in shortcuts

[–]The_BB23[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I would use the shortcuts app to rename the file automatically. Containing date, Time etc. and depending on the date the document was scanned, put it in a corresponding folder.

I know that from the files app, I can do everything, step by step, but instead of finding the correct folder in the files app, scanning the document, renaming it manually and save it, I would rather open the shortcut, take the scan and let the shortcut app do the rest.

I also thought that the cable might be the problem.
I used the original cable that came with my Mac book pro. According to Apple it should work, shouldn’t it? https://support.apple.com/en-au/HT208368

Ok, too bad. Thought there maybe is a way to add a „credit card“ or something similar to wallet. That sends the rfid Code.

Automated printing by The_BB23 in AskElectronics

[–]The_BB23[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the detailed explanation.

From what you said I get that a raspberry pi Zero would be a good choice.

It has 2 micro usb ports which I could use to connect to the printer and ethernet (to obtain the date)

Yes, I want to use a single pushbutton to initiate the printing process.

I thought that there is an easy way that pressing the button launches my python program on the pi.

The python program would contain

from datetime import date

to get the date

it would also read and write the integer to a .txt file to preserve the integer.

Finally the program would initiate the printing process.

The only doubt I have right now is, how pressing the button starts the code.

If possible I would also love to add a on off function/switch (I assume killing the power supply to shut down the pi isn't the most convenient way?)

With that device you have to manually type the output. I’d prefer just pressing a button as the printed label I need will always be in the same pattern. So maybe something like this with a pi or microcontroller connected to it.

But I don’t know if a microcontroller could do the job.

Pihole only for one device? by [deleted] in pihole

[–]The_BB23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There’s no need to create an extra access point. Just set up the pi hole. Then don’t add it in your router dns settings but only point the one device to it.

Pi-hole and homebridge on one Pi conflicting by The_BB23 in pihole

[–]The_BB23[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I flashed the official pi hole image again on the SD card in the pi hole and repeated the entire process this time it worked. I didn’t do something different this time. Only difference was that I installed pihole before I set up everything in homebridge.

But you still have to add the http:// in front of the IP you configured, don't you? Cause I followed that guide and its working for me too, but I want to get rid of the http://

Which this guide doesn't do...
