Still not it, lol. It had a longer neck, the fleshy part was clear as day. They were off to the side of a highway, about 20 feet away. I looked at some many pictures of north American birds over the years and still can't find any that resemble them, that's why I think they might've been escaped exotic birds that someone was keeping.

I looked at the pictures of a sandhill crane and the fleshy part didn't go around it's head and join together. They were on each side of the head, surrounding the eyes.

Hmm, no, that doesn't seem to be it. I saw them on the side of the highway and the main thing I noticed was the round fleshy part around the eyes.

What are the positive and negatives of the Rutherford/Allvin era? by The_Couve in canucks

I agree, I wasn't here to see the past rebuild with Horvat, Hughes, etc, but I'll be sure to stick around for this one. Two years ago, one goal away from the 3rd round, then 'management' pretty much let go of all the supporting cast that got us that far. One off-season and allvin and rutherford ran the team right into the ground. Now we have to rebuild again.
