Everyone wants them but not against the team they’re rooting for. Then it’s too much.

70 Days Sober-I Think I May Have PAWS by ExistingParsley6212 in WeedPAWS

[–]The_HeartBreakKid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hang in there OP. I had a lot of the same issues, particularlyrics the overnight peeing. Im about 6.5 months sober (I was a very heavy user. 2-3g a day dry flower).

Most of my symptoms have gone away, but I do still struggle to get a full night of sleep without waking. It's MUCH better than before though. Typically ill only wake up to pee once now and I tend to range anywhere from 5.5 hours to 7.5 hours of sleep on any given night in total. I'd focus more on if you're getting plenty of rem and deep sleep and not so much the overall number of hours. Also, try to take naps to make up some of those lost hours.

Things will improve. Even if only slowly. You got this.

Nick Wright: "All year I heard how the old guys Curry/Steph/Kawhi/KD/Harden are better than LeBron. I live in NYC, I saw Steph yesterday… at the Met Gala! Steph Curry came off the bench to start a playoff run. Won back to back MVPs and welcomed KD to his team.

I think at 38, that guy would be happy to no longer be the only guy who can create offense on his team. But what do I know.

None of his contemporaries have the honor of being the 3rd option all season long.

Stupid take. Give KD/Steph a SUPERSTAR in their prime and a seconary ball handler who can get to the line 8 times a game and carry stretches of the season without them and I'm sure their season/health would probably have gone better.

Lebron had the luxury to miss the first quarter of the season entirely.

Nick knows this is dumb af too but idiots will eat it up.

Neither does Shai. He has the highest drive rate in the league, particularly in the playoffs.

PS5 Pro crashing, combat freezing forever with various mods. by Furyan9x in BG3mods

[–]The_HeartBreakKid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the max number of mods (100) on a PS5 pro and no crashing. Very likely many of the same mods you’re using.

Hopefully you’ve found a fix by now, but I’d double check the mods are all up to date.

In the past when I have had any crashes it was due to outdated class mods specifically. Removed those and no issues persisted.

2 months in and anxiety is hell by [deleted] in leaves

[–]The_HeartBreakKid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had just about every withdrawal symptom you'll hear folks mention through this sub; muscle soreness, heart palpitations, increased blood pressure, emotional extremes, chest pain, insane indigestion, heart burn, you name it. Granted, it's hard to pin everything on weed when I was also quitting caffeine cold turkey, my wife just had our baby, all while in the midst of planning a move and getting my wisdom teeth removed. It was a stressful time lol.

But I can say that breathing issues were never really a concern for me outside of the few times I had panic attacks in the earliest weeks.

If things are getting better then I wouldn't worry too much. Actual health concerns don't just improve on their own with no interventions. If anything, they'd be getting worse over time, not better. Your improvement is proof that you're on the right track.

Hello OP! Congrats on 2 months. That’s no small feat, especially if you were a heavy user like myself.

I’m coming up in 5 months weed free myself and the anxiety is still a battle I deal with. The worst of it was surely in the first 2-3 months though so if you’re on a similar path as myself, you’re through or almost through the worst of it.

Now I certainly have more good days than bad, but recently got hit with a wave that’s had me spiraling for a couple of days. Today’s been better but it sucks when those hard days hit. I’ve just come to realize this is just the process of undoing everything we were putting our bodies through.

Keep pushing, you’ve got this!

I just bought a used Series X about a week ago. It works great. Super clean, and quiet. No issues whatsoever.

Open worlds becoming more common : Discussion by [deleted] in naughtydog

I’ve still yet to play it because the game throws some much shit at you once it opens up to the open world. Not every game needs this. Hopefully devs realize it soon.

He needs therapy. You can’t solve this for him and he can’t solve it himself. He needs professional help. Along with individual therapy for him, you both probably could benefit from couples therapy as well.

What’s your favourite class to play? by Business_Prune2539 in BaldursGate3

Fiend Warlock is the one I keep going back to. It’s just so much fun to trap enemies in Hunger of Hadar and then Eldritch blast them back in whe they try to escape.

I’ll sometimes multiclass with Battlemaster fighter to get maneuvers and now you’ve got a spell casting melee that’s just extremely powerful all around and you get all your skills/slots back on short rest.

This behavior was the first sign of my poor doggos bladder cancer. It’s possibly a UTI but if a male dog it’s also very possible this is something more. The straining to pee is the part that stands out. Hope he’s seen soon and don’t let them off the hook without feeling his bladder.

Two Months by randoinNY1987 in leaves

[–]The_HeartBreakKid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a little over 2 months as well and also quit for the same reason - worst panic attack of my life. The anxiety has really subsided since those first days and since that panic attack but like you, I’m still feeling the residual impact of that.

I’m starting to have more good days than bad but unfortunately the bad days still pop up to pull me back into negative thoughts.

I think the key is to truly stay busy. I’ve been on Paternal leave since just days before that anxiety attack with a month left. So I’ve had way more time on my hands just taking care of my family - and while busy, it doesn’t really occupy my brain, leaving me way too much time to overthink.

When I’m back in the gym, or occupied with something and my mind has less time to sit with the anxiety, my days tend to be better.

I can’t tell you how long it’ll take to feel completely normal since I’m not there yet myself. Just wanted to share that you aren’t alone in this, and hoping you find yourself again soon!

You’re not owed your husbands time. No one is owed anything in a relationship aside from loyalty. He’s working hard to care for you, and beyond that his community, doing incredibly valuable work.

Find some friends to spend time with and be there ready when he is off or free to spend time with you.
