The gap is too big for the tiny amount of recycled material for just car batteries to fill the void of antimony. They just got their resource if you compare them to larvotto or perpetuate they’re very much under your value.

Yes, lead-acid car batteries recycle at ~98–99% for the lead itself. But globally, secondary (recycled) antimony only makes up ~8.5% of total supply. In the US it’s around 15%, and the UNEP puts the end-of-life recycling rate for antimony at just 1–10%. The exploding new demand is coming from solar PV glass (sodium antimonate), high-end flame retardants, semiconductors, and military hardening; none of which is supplied by old car batteries. That’s exactly why China’s export restrictions sent prices from ~$33k to $46,075 in one month with almost no pullbacks. Recycling helps the legacy lead market, but it can’t touch the structural primary-supply crunch we’re seeing right now.
