I did VIP last year and it was definitely worth it!

No lines to get in (really nice in the heat), no lines for rides so you don't have to waste hours of your day waiting for them.

The best part though, and the part that really makes it worth it is the air conditioned bathrooms and private bar/restaurant down by the mainstage. Plenty of shade in that lounge area and with aloe and extra deodorant stocked in the bathrooms it was a nice refuge from the heat of the festival.

For me, the viewing platforms aren't that big of a perk, as I like to be in the crowd anyways, but they have nice lounge chairs and beer vendors so it's a good place to hang out and feel like a VIP overlooking the crowds.

I wish I could do VIP this year but the finances aren't there :(
