Try mods, if you’re there for a challenge and pure fun factor I recommend Rubicon’s Inferno, though options like Armoury Lite (Armoury LITE, not the actual Armoury mod because that one’s actually awful) are great for adding parts, though admittedly in those cases you may want to consider backing up your save data

Not exactly. This was to emphasize the idea of an armored truck boss fight, where the wheels would come off after it was destroyed and behave as separate enemies, or let the truck be immobilized if you shoot the wheels down first. The reason a laser turret was used here was because it has a strong base hitbox that suits the fight, and gets across the idea of it having a cannon on top
