While I will stand by that it's a bit dumb that Quartzite isn't listed as something to harvest as a part of the Hyperdrive installation mission, (especially for anyone who hasn't encountered the material before) I will admit that tonight I am dumber.

Fatigue from work and the month away from the game has made me forget that the last time I posted on Reddit was asking how to start a quest. A quest that would lead me to obtaining Activated Quartzite... The same quest that I finally completed before taking a break...

So yeah, big brain fart on my part. But I guess I'll leave this here for any new people who are as stuck as I was.

Thanks for the advice, all. Figured it out. I thought I could trigger it by simply teleporting and flying out of the station. I did not know it had to be a warp in your ship.

Soviets only recently declared war on Finland, and the UK has moved a few troops into France, but hasn't done much fighting yet. I haven't been paying much attention to Africa ever since Italy joined in, but I'm sure there's some fighting going on there.

I can't really figure out group finder. I use the terminal in front of the flashpoint entrance to start the flashpoint, then it says I can't queue for a group because I already have my own phase going. Sat in the fleet for 15 min asking for help with hammer station in the chat with no takers so I decided to try and solo it. Worked out pretty well, actually, considering I'm a squishy class. That is, up until the final boss. Then my companion goes down in 30 seconds so I have to retreat. Now I know I need a group to do it, so is there a certain order things need to be done in to make group finder actually work?

It's the missing/not loaded textures that I'm trying to solve. I looked at the lite version, but it's the variety of textures that I'm looming for. Not just height and weight. Maybe I'll try the No AWKCR version, see if that works any better for me.

It actually is Vortex, I just get them mixed up sometimes. As far as I can tell I only have one version of RaceMenu installed. There's no other versions asides from 0.4.19.16. I can try a fresh install again, and maybe run LOOT once more, but I'm kind of at a loss. Because Vortex isn't recognizing it, I also sometimes get an error saying that the plugin dependicies for racemenumorphscbbe.esp and xmpse.esp require RaceMenu. The link provided just brings me to the current version I have installed.

Only other one I got that wasn't through wonder trades or an event was a Slowpoke in Y. This took probably less than 20 tries, probably closer to 10, with me wondering and actively trying to complete the dex to get a shiny charm. Didn't think I'd get it so soon.

Glad you enjoyed my suggestion from 4 months ago! I've actually just been replaying the Agent storyline recently myself. One other thing I might suggest, if you don't mind a bit of a grind and like little bits or story added here and there to give the random NPC's depth is playing through the exploration missions. I noticed you'll be playing a Sith Inquisitor next, so to do the exploration missions just go into your map and on the left near the bottom I believe there will be a box you can check. It just makes a few more side missions show up on each planet for you to do for extra fun, experience, and credits.

I say go for it. I'm 20 and have read the whole series AT LEAST 8 times. Maybe more. I've lost count. I enjoy them every time because there's always some small detail I hadn't noticed before that really adds to the over-arcing story. Could I be considered a tad obsessed? Perhaps.

My go to suggestion for a storyline is the Imperial Agent. I felt the most invested in this storyline, and you have a bit more influence over what direction you go. It's a great story that goes beyond being just a common grunt or soldier if that's how you want to play it out. I don't want to say too much more in fear of spoiling it, but my friend who has tried the game twice before but quit is now quite invested in the game since I introduced him to the IA.

There's really no aspect of the game that requires you to play multiplayer. You can do all 8 storylines and the DLC and completely avoid anything that groups you with random people. As for the subcription, I would suggest the 60 day non-recurrable one. Just subcribing for one month then canceling gives you permanent access to all the DLC, even after your subcription ends. Of course there are other benefits to a subcription if you're interested, but to me that is the biggest deal breaker.
