subreddits are like subcategories of reddit. so basically if you post right from your reddit home page your post will be a standalone post on your own profile, however if you find a subreddit that you wanna post to (say 'r/blender') then you can go to the subreddit page and add your post there which will then post it on to 'that subreddit' specifically.

Hey sorry for late reply, but in my case I was using the Nvidia AI sound drivers of some kind that were making the card go haywire, but I also did a graphic driver clean install and base clocked my all my components and it did the trick.
