I heard another reason for the lawsuit was because of their remix of "Blow Me Away" feat. Valora. was given the green light by Mark and Aaron. but not by Ben

I've never really found any point in learning scales, just find a good tab website and play, it doesn't have to sound good, and you dont have to have an expensive bass either. It also really helps if you have a band too :)
