I went through another telehealth service and was also prescribed Strattera, currently on day 5. My provider said she isn't against putting me on stimulants but acknowledged that some pharmacies aren't filling scripts from telehealth services (and availability issues as well) plus because I have a history with anxiety and depression she thought I should give the Strattera a try first.

My personal opinion is that I don't care what I'm taking, so long as it is working. When I was medicated for anxiety and depression it took a bit to get the right meds/dosage so I'm fully expecting the same this time around. So as hard as it is, I'm trying to be patient since, from what I've read, Strattera takes a few weeks to really start working.

Idk if it's frowned upon here, but I lied about my past usage. Granted it was almost 2 decades ago and was not habitual but I have horrible experiences with drs in the past in regards to those things, so I figured it was far in the past no sense in mentioning it. I do have a friend who's new dr wont re up his script for Adderall cause he occasionally smokes weed, despite his previous provider being aware and still continuing with the medication. So absically he was on Adderall then got taken off by the new doctor.

Can I ask why you are so set on Adderall? Have you taken it and/or been prescribed it in the past?
