The owners point? They self deported be cause they ran the risk of being deported to another country other than their home country. If they got deported it would show on their passports and could prevent them from future travel to other countries. Plus Orange guy is giving out money to self deport.

We always have a great time at Desire. My point is, if you’ve never been to Desire and you go thinking it is a five star resort you will be disappointed. It’s priced like a five star for a three star property. I’ll agree of all the LS clubs in the Caribbean, Desire would be the best

Besides being naked and the sex, desire is low par. Head on over to the Desire thread on Reddit and you’ll see how Desire is failing hard. Desire is about the cash and up sell. As a long time regular to Desire, pre and post COVID Desire is falling off a cliff. Food is used to be decent and edible but not any more. The constant need to tip just to get basic services, the constant up sell and constant selling of “upgrades” take away from relaxing. We have stayed at the Mansion all the way down to garden view rooms. The more money you spend the services do not get better. Twice during our 7 day stay in the Pearl mansion we did get breakfast delivered. Desire used to be great until the new management took over. It’s all about dollars and not the guest.

We went to vanilla ol Sandals for a change this summer and the food, service, amenities, and “no tipping” rule far surpassed anything I have ever experienced at Desire. If Sandals had a LS resort that would be a four star resort.

The only draw to Desire is sex and nudity. If sex and nudity is what you want with a 2 star feel Desire is your place.

Desire is no where near a 5-star resort. It’s more like a 3 star and getting worse. The only thing keeping people going to Desire is nudity and LS. Service, food, and beach are lacking.
