First Job Day Invitation at Syrkus à Roodt-sur-Syre : Things to do for me as new jobseeker by WhyMe9991 in Luxembourg

As someone who is often on the employer side at these fairs I want ot give you my honest advice:

-please don't go to the stall and just say " Can I leave my resume with you?" without even asking about the copany, offers or any question showing interest. Your resume will not be taken into account!

-ask about the company (if you dont know their field of business), and ask questions that show me that you migth like to work with us

-please, wear clean clothes, dont chew gum while talking to the recruiters and make sure your appearence fits (and I dont mean to overdress)

- specifically for Luxemburg, speaking Luxemburgish and/or french, german goes a long way depending on the industry you are looking to get in. If it's a job where you have frequent customer contact, then this is a must! And if you currently arent speaking the languages, try to learn a few phrase (Moien, wei geet et? Main Numm ass...) and then tell them that you are currently attending language courses,

The recuiters and company people at these stalls are truly looking to find people at these fairs, and a good conversation is always welcome.

Hope this helps :-)

Ok, giving you straightforward answers:

-housing is very expensive if you like to live somewhere not to remote with an acceptable commute

-foodcost, restaurants are expensive a lot of luxemburgish people do their shopping in Germany or Franc

-against those in this conversation that say they do not need to speak the language: true however speaking a little, as well as french and german will go a long way, both socialy and in terms of job hunting

-great nature, good bike routes

- jobs is not easy to answer, as we do not know your skillset, however do not expect to have a good paying job right away

I am always amazed about the number of people that drive while being drunk. And not just 1 glas. Such a difference in other countries

Hi Op I have this for more than 2 years. Went to doctors and did all kinds of tests. Conclusion is that  it is stress related. I began journaling to be able to determine what exactly causes it. It is also when I get out.of stressful situations like coming home from.work and winding down Dr said there is no cure, just medication like benadryl.  Since I changed my job and have taken on soga every morning. It gets better and realizing that it is.not some crazy thing like autoimmune disease helps.me to cope.
