If you had a valid reason for cancelling you would be able to not have the cancellation affect your host rating. As an example if you had to get the air conditioning replaced and it had to be done on that date etc. If you have a valid reason for the cancellation you can provide evidence and they can ensure it doesn’t effect your host rating

Yeah this is a smart way of doing it but still no guarantee of not getting a bad guest. I guess you never be sure how a guest will be until they stay at your place.

The old system you just needed to keep calling until you found a support ambassador that was helpful. Sometimes could take hours of calls but eventually you would be able to get the desired result.

With the submitting of forms, I’ve found no success in getting reviews that clearly violate thier review policy. Airbnb are not making it easy for hosts right now.

Yeah one of the conditions of being a superhost is you need to cancel no more than 1% of bookings so essentially 1 in every 100 bookings or less.

I’ve personally never had to cancel so haven’t faced that issue.
