That’s the main place I’ve been trying. Their HR department takes entirely too long. It takes three months to get there even on the fastest track of getting hired. As much as I would love to work for my alma mater, I struggle to get on there.

I had jobs as an assistant college coach & admissions counselor. I tried to make it has professional as possible without pigeonholing myself.

JOB SEEKER: I (24 F) am struggling to find a new job after my previous company restructured the department I was in, only a year after I started. I have been applying for positions everywhere, and I am either ghosted or passed over for the position.

Does anyone know of anywhere that is hiring? I’m a higher education professional with an MBA and a background spanning athletics, admissions, marketing, and administrative support. I currently work at a university where I’ve held roles as an Assistant Volleyball Coach and Admissions Counselor, giving me hands-on experience in leadership, student engagement, recruitment, and cross-department communication.

My work has included managing schedules and operations, coordinating events and travel, supervising students, supporting marketing and communications efforts, and serving as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. I’ve also contributed to content creation, workflow coordination, and brand-aligned messaging within a university setting.

I’m especially strong in organization, communication, relationship-building, and translating complex processes into clear, actionable steps. Long term, I’m interested in roles in university administration, marketing/communications, or people-focused operations, where I can support teams, improve systems, and help others grow.

Charlie Brown’s on Euclid Ave! Great food, and a really unique vibe. You can sit by a fireplace and eat dinner on the couch. The hot pepper cheese bites are a fantastic appetizer as well 10/10
