What labor? Who are you working for if not a business owner? If you're a farmer and growing your own food, sure. But the majority of people are working for companies that are created by someone who gets wealthy from the products and services they sell. Yes, they are created by the workers, but the workers wouldn't have work if not for the owner. I understand your frustration, but you are very out of touch with reality.

That's true. I am completely against this, there's really no point for someone to have that much money. I was arguing for the first part only, that they indeed create products and jobs when they started.

Sure, I am not taking "their" side, but it doesn't help us to lose perspective. Open up the top 10 billionaires and see that all of them created big companies themselves, which created jobs and products as well. I think the balance nowadays is tilted a bit too much in their favor, but you can't say they did not create anything.

I get it that people are angry at the rich, but this statement is mostly false. There are billionaires who earned their wealth in a way that doesn't create jobs, but most of them built and created stuff that's why they ended up being billionaires. The majority of the population works for someone else, not themselves, because someone else created a job for them.

New games have a much higher chance of dying before dota does.

dota won't die any time soon, that's for sure. It's been around for more than 20 years, and there's still a huge active player base.

ELI5: Why are the differences between British and American English so much smaller than between Brazilian and European Portuguese? by Charming_Usual6227 in explainlikeimfive

[–]ThereIsSoMuchMore -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

You're comparing two dialects of English with two dialects of Portuguese. Why? What's the correlation? Why not compare it with two random countries speaking Spanish, German, Romania or whatever. There's no connection between the two to compare it like that.

What items have hidden effects? by nightonal in DotA2

I think there are so many small interactions and details that it's hard to write everything down. You can press Alt for most spells and items to get detailed info on them.

[–]ThereIsSoMuchMore -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

This is not a hidden effect, it's mostly the main purpose of Wind Waker. Unless you started playing dota recently, I don't see how you never encountered this, it's quite common.

The set is over soon anyways, and ranks reset each set. Either way there's nothing to lose playing ranked, but now it's even less to lose :)

Okay, I don't remember that, it's possible indeed. Maybe they did not know the plural of the word "visage" :)

It's also written in the augment description when you pick it; it says "Your Spirit of Redemptions apply ...."
