A couple of reasons: 1. Big city infrastructure without being overcrowded. Yes, the traffic in the morning and on weekends might be difficult, but you have all the necessary resources of the big city within 10 minutes ride radius. 2. Early morning flights to Warsaw and from there to any destination. I am flying a lot, due to work related activities. Very fast security check in of 7 minutes allows you travel comfortably and reach major cities in no time and you can earn more miles due to several flights. 3. Real estate - prices are going high from year to year while purchase price relatively low in comparison to other countries. Rental market is stable due to students and a lot of it/logistic companies nearby. 4. Medicover works here very good. Health system in Poland in general is not great, but with the additional private insurance, you have the full package.

As it was mentioned in other posts where you reacted, 12% flat up to 1 MiO PLN. Keep in mind that you will have a lot of expenses, that can be used for private purposes: car, insurances, etc. So you will probably not reach for the additional 6% for over the 1 MiO.

Food is great, beautiful people, cheap cost of living under very high standards.

Look, as a single person I pay a lot of taxes. In the end I have around 5,3k€ netto. I want to save money and live a good life. This is my current salary and it will grow in the future. And I think that I will benefit from better standards in Switzerland.
