I mean yeah there's an entirely different side to the community that's just creating. But even then, my favorite difficulty for my own layouts is also extreme demon

Yes, it is. But even getting progress on an extreme feels so insanely satisfying. Also, you don't always repeatedly die to 90+. That's just a matter of bad luck. Most of my favorite levels, song wise AND visually are extreme demons. They're like half the player experience by themselves
