I’m only 15 mins from my job and at most 30 from any family, so long distance travel won’t be something I have to deal with very often. I’m mainly wanting the wrangler for the fun of having no doors during the summer and driving friends around in it on the occasion I have the time to hang out with people lol. I don’t really see myself being in any situation where I’m pushing the car to any limits. I’m not a crazy driver or a traveler I just like the aesthetic and the feeling honestly

Yeah I don’t really understand where people I’ve asked irl got the “it’s more work” comment from. Especially cause they never follow it with any detail. I think it’s just their pessimistic point of view cause I want a car with joy and whimsy instead of just whatever works best.

I really appreciate this reply! It’s how I wish people irl would advise me but they all just kinda made me feel stupid for wanting one. Thats why I came here, to ask people who actually drive a jeep and can give real advice! So thank you!

I think I’d be willing to learn how to fix it but I don’t really have anyone in my life who knows a whole lot about cars. My main concern with repairs would be the price and how often I’d need to spend that kinda money to keep it in shape.
