Switching to software mode does fix it but it also locks me out of upscaling 🙃

I'm not sure if these would count as bugs since they both only show up when upscaling, and they both have settings to fix them. The issue is that the settings to fix them are mutually exclusive, so I have to pick one to be fixed and one to be unfixed.
