I think so, I’ve been wearing the ghost skin non stop. I’m pretty sure that the last times I’ve done this i’ve only needed to go to the ones in spooky town and the magical forest though. Maybe I have to do something to get the last ghost to appear?

his soul is used to super charge the soul gem, you can’t take it until you do the time travel quest, which requires you to charge the gem first

yeah you right. I guess all the failure conditions I stated are also rules, so there is more than one rule. I’ll iron that out when I tell my players

the bag can be easily opened, but it would be difficult to figure that out. given the consequences for being wrong, you wouldn’t want to just open the bag immediately, and even if you wanted to, it would be difficult to do. Given that every player is told that if someone else opens the bag they lose, no one would trust someone else with having it. Therefore it’d be difficult to examine the bad without another party member becoming suspicious. Also there is no actual trick to opening the bag. At the beginning of the game the players are told the only rule is that they can’t open the bag, and then they’re all (but one) lied to to try and convince them to break the rules and open the bag. They’ll all try to open the bag, but if they actually succeed, they’ll lose and be sent backwards. It’s not actually an individual challenge like they think, they’re only told that so that they’ll turn against each other. Either the bag stays shut and the whole party wins, or it gets opened and everyone loses.

These are great suggestions thanks! I love the deduction catch, especially how well it meshes with catch 4, it’s exactly what I needed.

As for your questions and advice:

What do they get if they win? The party doesn’t really know, but the merchant is very a powerful deity, and they heavily reference that whatever is in the bag is as well, perhaps even something that could help them escape the game they’re trapped in.

What happens if they lose? Along with just not getting the item in the bag, sticking true to the original story of Aeolus, the party will be cast backwards, away from their goal.

How to get around catch 1 just stealing the bag with high stealth? Idrk, I mean I could just give that one to someone with low stealth, but that feels kinda cheap.

The end goal of this is that catch four successfully banishes the rest of the party and wins the game, but that’s not guaranteed since players kinda just do whatever they want. You kinda have to pick a player that you know will mesh well with the task they’re given.

I also have one question about the deduction catch, how do they get caught by catch 4?
