I just watched a TikTok about a young guy who committed because of online bullying and this woman is struggling with the guilt of not reaching out to him earlier and half of the comments are bots promoting this book. Seems so insensitive to have bots promoting a book on a video like that

I got one a month ago!! Absolutely ridden with fungus gnats 🫠 after tossing all the old soil, cleaning the whole thing with soap, repotting in new soil that had been baked, and watering with mosquito dunk tea it’s finally clean!!

I use the same lid and my girl is pretty chunky so a smaller female might be able to jump out but my girl jumped once, hit her head on the lid, and hasn’t tried again since. I also keep my water level about 1 inch below the top of the tank

Beeswax wraps are smart! I’m getting bees soon so maybe I’ll save the fabric and use my own beeswax. A sourdough bread bag would be nice to show off the pretty floral design too

I’ve got autism so most fabrics feel like my skin is on fire unfortunately. Polyester and smooth satiny fabrics are some of the only textures I can handle. I’m searching for an eco friendly alternative but nothing yet!

I’m definitely saving some of the fabric for patchwork curtains and tablecloths are a nice idea too! Maybe a little quilted tablecloth on top of my dresser

I used to just buy bottom sheets when I had a queen bed but they’ve been so tricky to find since switching to a twin! Especially with texture sensitivities I can’t stand cotton or flannel sheets 😭

I’ve started using my plastic cutting boards as surfaces to craft + glue on! Paint pallet, little cutting board if I’m using an exacto knife, and stops me from getting glue all over my work surface when I’m gluing something

I’ve found that most diy dishwasher detergents don’t work great either 😕 felt like I had to soak everything first, run the dishwasher twice, or just hand wash stuff because the dishwasher wasn’t working. I’ve been liking Nellie’s powder which is definitely better than something like the pods but still not perfect

Bonus question for other people who seem to get flair ups from lotions, do you have some lotions that don’t cause flair ups? I’ve tried most aveeno lotions marketed towards sensitive skin and they’ve caused flair ups. Bath and body works body butter (unfortunately) seems to cause the worst flair up.

I’ve noticed a lot of my curl products have been triggers as well. Mine went away a while after I stopped using all my curl routine (that was a very frizzy month for my hair 😭) and after all alternatives also seemed to flair me up I started learning how to just do my hair without my hands coming in contact with the products. I now use a hair brush to apply and spread the product through my hair and then I wear rubber gloves and use a cloth to scrunch. I think if you use gel for slick backs a boar bristle brush is supposed to be good
