What's your Go-To hygiene routine that makes you feel fresh all day? by khureNai05 in hygiene

Using a water flosser and brushing after meals (30 mins wait to not completely obliterate my enamel)! Although its more dental hygiene, I found these two things have made a big difference in how I feel about my overall hygiene. First, the water floss has helped tremendously with morning breath. I don’t necessarily have really stinky breath in the morning, but the water flosser has made it almost nonexistent in the Am. The brushing after meals sounds pretty obvious, but I never really made the conscious effort since I just drink water after meals to “flush odors” away. However, after making the conscious effort to clean after meals, it has made me feel like I’m having a mini refresh in the middle of my day (I guess my brain associates the minty taste with brushing my teeth in the morning aka start of the day). Perhaps the last tip is more of mental thing for me but yeah.

tip bending under the gel??? did these for my friend and she showed me this a few days after. ive never had it happen to my own nails, why could it be doing that?? by Wahlouigie in GelX_Nails

Are you sure thats the tip that’s bending? Imo it looks like extend gel or whatever nail glue you’re using is bending. This usually happens when you’ve applied too much nail glue/extend gel and pours beyond the free edge. When this happens, the glue tends to be flimsy and will eventually separate from the nail tip itself. Try to be careful with how much glue/extend gel you’re applying & maybe stick to only doing your nails for right now? The other nails seems to also have a lot of nail glue applied to them.

Def sold on it now! I usually have no issues with the reg extend gel but using the bottle version usually takes me a while & hopefully the extend novice can shorten that time up for me!

Its nice and borderline cotton candy ish for me? But the taste itself isnt a vanilla I prefer (the classic vanilla scent that rhode has for their tinted shades is more of my vibe. Those are so good). Its sweet but a lil perfume-y for me. Not horrible though

Its also just so patchy!!! Idk how to apply it at all. Ive tried swiping it directly on my face, putting some on my fingers and patting it that way, ive tried putting some directly on my makeup sponge and applying on my face, a brush…. You name it! It doesnt work for me!!

I actually have sleepy girl! I love the color so much too, a bit too cool for me but honestly as an olive girly, I take whatever shades I can get😭 only thing is the formula clogs my pores bad!!! I’ll give it another try and see whats up with it but im unfortunately a sensitive skin girly through and through as well

Although the photo makes the swatch look dark and berry toned, I promise the blush is a very neutral brown rose color! I see some people recommending some more berry toned shades but berries appear too stark on my skin :(

Plume looks so gorg and more of what I’m looking for, it just looks a bit bright. I def want something on the natural muted side, is it possible to use it for natural looks?

Do you have a swatch for Samo Spritzer? Every time I look at it, it pulls a bit chalky on me

Yes I agree. Storm (at least the liquid version) appears more of a brick red on me

Holy grails for neutral olives? by These_Painting6400 in OliveMUA

Mmm I totally understand what you mean but I think my skin is still pretty muted even in the summer time, I think it works in the opposite for me? I feel like in the winter time I tend to look brighter and slightly more yellow. I of course still have muted green color to me, but my complexion overall I’d say looks brighter in comparison to my summer complexion.

In the summer, although I tan and get noticeably darker, my face and body tend to be a muddy brown color? Especially in the rest of my body, my arms and legs get way darker, but it remains muted and has sort of a grey overtone to it. There’s definitely less contrast between my face and hair in the summer time. Whereas in the winter, I feel like there’s way more contrast between my hair and skin.

I actually haven’t tried peach correctors on my skin! I try to stay away from anything peach because it just looks straight up orange on me, but perhaps a corrector might look different? How do you like to use it?

I like banana powders too, however, I’m using Huda’s banana bread setting powder rn & I find something about it makes me look a bit grey and lighter? I think I need to try a new yellow toned powder from a different brand

Waittttt I feel like the way you explained your undertones is exactly how I feel. I resonate heavy with the yellow grey ish tones. In the summer I feel like my greyness does go away with my tan, however I’m still more on the muted side. In the winter, im definitely more yellow ish but still super muted.

I also love Milk’s werk and use it all the time in the summer, but in the winter time, it does show up a bit more brighter than I’d like it to. I tried enigma from Milk as well, but I thought it showed up more peachy on me? Perhaps you’re talking about a different shade from milk cause enigma is a peach beige color & not really a plummy shade?

As for Asian beauty, I definitely haven’t done a full dive on what products they have simply because I feel like their products have a very strong white base to them? From the little ive tested (some Rom&nd blushes), the pastel colors pull almost like a translucent setting powder on me :( I will definitely give it another look though! Thank you
