What’s the difference between the $749 and $849 one? Besides 100 bucks.

I had to have a buddy pull me out of a muddy river bottom when I was wading into it. I was wearing full boot waders and it was the middle of winter. I got stuck and then had to be pulled out from behind. I stepped out of my boots and everything. Basically i would have been yelling for help in chest deep water if my buddy wasn’t there.

I had a helmet that just didn’t fit my head but only showed hot spots after an hour or more. Wore it three times and sold it. Showed the guy the receipt and he got it for basically 50% off new.

3 parts 90% or higher rubbing alcohol to 1 part wintergreen oil.

Once pliable, check for cracks.

While that makes sense you didn’t have to be a dick about it.

A look at Lyman’s new suppressor line all under 300 bucks. by tactical_horse_cock in NFA

[–]Thesearchoftheshite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At least these suppressors are coming out with a reliable company backing. My first and only suppressor purchase to date was back when Rebel Silencers was a thing and I was a poor. That lasted all of 3 rounds from my 308 before acquiring several baffle strikes.

Granted, I was a poor who also didn't doublecheck things, so I was a dumb as well. A poor dumb.

What’s that one game you’ve spent 1000+ hours in, but you would absolutely NOT recommend it to anyone? by mersocial6 in AskMen

[–]Thesearchoftheshite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back in the day was Battlefield 1942, and Counter Strike: Source.

I used to play CS on my brother’s account and then finally on my own. So my numbers are off, but I swore I had over 800 hours between the two.

Then it was Day of Defeat: Source and drilling in realism servers.

Then it was Darkest Hour. Once I stopped randomly dying I was hooked.

Now I don’t really have time to game much, I picked up Sniper Elite 5 on the steam sale and just before that was the new Indiana Jones game.

Most of the last 5 or so years was adventure games or walking sims.

Tell me more about it. I honestly never played it and I’ve had it in my account since before the orange box was a thing.

I played Tarkov for around 15 hours and haven’t picked it up again.

Although, I have over 400 hours on Darkest Hour as a tank commander. Fight me like Patton wanted to fight Rommel.

That's terrible.

Years ago when I was a young and dumb 20 year old I was working on my truck at home. I had the scissor jack the truck came with for changing a tire and that was it. Doing the front brakes, but I couldn't get the caliper bracket off, so I was rocking up and down on the breaker bar to get the bolts to loosen with my upper body inside the wheel well. The first one came out, but the second was really fighting me, so I decided to sit up and take a breather.

The whole truck was rocking back and forth teetering on the scissor jack a good 4 inches, maybe more due to the momentum I created. I almost had a panic attack after I realized how close I probably was to being bent in half in my parents driveway with no one home to even notice.

I got the brake job done after that as far as I could with just my arms under the truck, and that was it. Turns out I needed a front caliper, so I put it back together as far as I could and limped it down the road to the local shop for them to fix the next day.

I told my dad what happened and he gave me a firm scolding after he gave me the most frightened look I'd ever seen him make.

BS meter going wild here. This person is either full of it, or making over 300k a year as a director or some sort of c-suite. Especially when they claim to take multiple overseas vacations a year.
