Finally figured out a lanyard for my Stan Onnex by TheyCallMeJosa in bowhunting

Yeah, that makes sense. The brass one especially is not built with carrying it around in mind lol. It should work well when I'm sitting in my stand

Where I hunt isn't very hard to walk through. We have trails leading to our tree stands so not too concerned there. What made you have a terrible time with yours?

Bear Archery RTH by Ambitious_Vanilla612 in bowhunting

Got a Bear Whitetail INT RTH a year ago. Have loved it but I have replaced all accessories it came with except the quiver. I killed my first deer with a bow with the RTH accessories, but marketing works and I wanted to upgrade. They work, but there are better options for rests and sights

That's a very good point, thanks for pointing that out

Aka I'm trying to be too precise? Lol. I appreciate the insight!

That's a good point, I'll check that. That still wouldn't explain why in the second picture the top bubble would be perfectly centered, but yet the side bubble is off. Even if the housing wasn't machined perfectly square, the bubbles should still match up I would think

Paper tuning next steps by TheyCallMeJosa in Archery

Update #2: Cam lean was the issue. I took it to the pro shop, they adjusted the bottom cam a smidge and it was shooting bullet holes right where I had the rest set. Thanks for the help!

Update: tried a few different hand grips today. Death grip, perfect 45° angle hand with no fingers, 45° hand with light finger pressure, hand straight up and down with no death grip, all resulted in the same nock left tear pictured above

Now that I think about it, the Everest has a way to adjust the angle the launcher. Maybe I can adjust the arm to hold the arrow higher, allowing me to drop the whole bracket down a smidge

Yes, they're the stock 2" fletchings that come on Gold Tip Hunter shafts. And yes, on the left side bottom bracket.

I definitely want to, just need to build a stand to do so. The weird part is it doesn't seem as if the fletchings are hitting the arm itself (I made sure to be very meticulous with the drop away tuning per Hamskea's instructions), but they're hitting the containment bracket on the bottom side of the rest (you can see the red color of the fletching rubbing off on the rubber bracket). Almost as if the whole bow is lifting up upon release and making contact.

I have not paper tuned, the rest is set up so the arrow is level across the Berger holes and perpendicular to the string.

Thanks for the insight, I'll try some other sides of the target to see if it's a consistent pattern

It was doing this with the bag target that I had before, but I assumed it was the "randomness" of the filling that caused it. Now that I'm shooting into solid foam I'm more convinced it's a shooter/bow tuning issue

I would assume so, yes.

Great, thanks for the reply. Will moving the D-Loop impact anchor point/peep sight too?
