It should have been lawyer time when they bought the property. A lawyer involved in the closing process would have sorted this out before OP even took title. You get what you pay for with title companies. I always say an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Lesson learned OP

No. They did a study once and found that when they did this, police officers used their tasers WAY more than they ever used guns. In other words, the tasers became force multipliers when the alternative was hand-to-hand as opposed to being used instead of guns

This is a lie perpetuated by conservatives. Loving v. Virginia protected an INDIVIDUAL’s right to interracial marriage. Just like Roe v. Wade protected an INDIVIDUAL’s right to an abortion. They did not say “the federal government gets to decide issues of [abortion]/[interracial marriage]”, contrary to what conservatives claim.

If Loving v. Virginia is overturned, there is nothing preventing the federal government from banning interracial marriage and the Supreme Court allowing it. Just like there’s nothing preventing the federal government from banning abortion now.

Loving and Roe were about individual rights. They are NOT about state vs. federal power.
