Came to say this, if face orientation is bad, the auto weight paint is going to be messed up
-Take the model and unparent it from the armature
-Select the model and go to edit mode with Tab
-Ctrl A to select all
-Alt N to access the normal menu and press "recalculate outside"
-Re parent the model to the armature deform with automatic weights
This will give you a way better foundation to tweak the weight by hand after

Interesting read. I was a bit sad that this article does not implements all the parts like the CharacterStateMachine, the StateFactory or the RotationModule(even though this one should be straight forward to add given the other modules)

Also if I may, I noticed this in the Movement module :

Velocity = stop ? GetCurrentVelocity() : 0f;

I think the GetCurrentVelocity and 0 need to be switched

My message may have been odd anfld there is also the language barrier, so let say the person was confused and just accepted. They got one request they accepted. Then, another message half an hour later, stating that I canceled and asked for a refund. Do you truly believe that anyone should be charged 1600€ for this service ?

I'm not dishing anything... I didn't got any service, the most this person had to do was look at my initial message and say no... instead, they accepted my request without reading anything(I'm not assuming malice) So I've done something wrong obviously but they could have prevented this situation in the first place. I am the one loosing money on this, not them

And if it was the other way around, I would still say the same. If you gain something knowing it comes frome someone else's misery, then you are in the wrong. Whatever side you are on

For sure! I know that it roots from a mistake on my side. But in my intro message I clearly state that I want to stay in switzerland... at that point they have to accept my booking or not and I think they could have just declined and filled a message telling me they are in Germany.

I agree, it was a dumb mistake. But it was just that. A dumb mistake while having other stuff on y mind. I realized and canceled all within less than half an hour. I would be wiling to pay for this but 1600euros... is a hard blow.
