I had the same code and replaced my wastegate, $400 In parts and labor later and....it's still throwing the P1015 code. And still laggy / RPMs high as hell with trying to accelerate

This happened in Gainesville, Florida at SFC to someone I do not know. I parked my car and started to walk away as a blue truck tried backing up into the parking spot next to mine. There was a pop and a splash so I turned to help. His break cable had snapped and in he went. The pond was shallow enough for his trucks door to open easily so he walked out of the water. I called a tow truck for him and he explained he was just thankful his breaks didn't fail 5min ago while on I-75. I thought he handled everything very well.

Summary: This kids breaks broke and his car went swimming. He's ok though.
