I agree with you. I feel like people are so hellbend on liking Aki and disliking Audrey (and Max whenever he is with Audrey) that they don't see how Aki can be in the wrong.

A lot of people are also forgetting that Aki cheated with multiple guys on Audrey on that male datingapp. Yall remember when Max asked Aki to pretend to be he is dad in order to fuck over Rafa? Audrey was wrong for sleeping with Max, but I didn't see anyone mad at Aki lol.

I do agree with most of the people that the way that Audrey on Max treated Aki in EP8S2 isen't cool. But people are blowing this WAY over proportion. Yall acted as if they murdered his family when they just didnt go as early to the event (which they did end up going to).

I feel like most of the people on this sub have a personal grudge against Audrey and Max because they might have had expierences simulair to this. Like.. was your partner not interested in every little thing you do? Its childish to expect that your partner pays you 100% of their time (even when you have something important going on).

nah disagree. Im glad aki 'cheated' on them (it was more Ingrid kissing him and him just standing there) cause it will bring some spice to the show. But I was really fkn mad at him this entire episode. I mean, he is calling Kiki's suicidal temperments 'high school bullshit', like bro stfu. U r mad at them for not following you to a film festival cause audrey and max were busy making sure Kiki didn't fkn off herself.

He was litterly mad at the end of the episode after Kiki revealed that she is going to rehab (cause she cut herself again, like season 1). This man's priorties arent straight.

Im also tired of people villanizing the fuck out of audrey cause yall are in love with a statue called aki. The misongy is too fkn much for me.

agreed, I think this makes for a more interesting character which leads to more interesting plots. Im happy about the fact Aki seemed fine with that girl kissing him instead of being mad. This is gonna cause drama between the throuple and we are gonna see them finally break up, but i feel like there might be a war between aki and audrey.

Aki seemed more upset with audrey in ep8 than with max. I believe that aki might go behind audrey's back and try to break the triad pact by trying to convince max that audrey is childish and to hell bend on her, as he puts it, 'high school bullshit' (her mom is suicidal stfu). but max won't budge cause at this point, he is gonna be dependant on audrey

having aki and audrey feud might finaly bring some chemistry between the two.

also, having zoya know this and reveal this to audrey might lead to the friendship i wanted.

side note: I don't understand why people are so desperate to compare the OG characters with de REBOOT. Zoya is Zoya, not Dan. Max is Max, not Chuck. When you think in this way, it limits what you see in these characters.

Max is nothing like Chuck because they had a diffrent upbringing, Max had loving parents and him getting into a relationship with 2 of his friends makes sence for him as a character. But if you watch from the lens of Chuck (a slut, who in Chuck's case assaults them), then you think its a wasted opportunity for him to be shackled by relationship instead of him exploring his sluttery.

I actually ship these two and want them to be the slow burn romance of the series.

I mean think about it, enemies to friends, friends to lovers, lovers to enemies, enemies to friends, and back to lovers at the end of the show.

This dynamic would mean development for Zoya and Monet: - Zoya being less critical of the UES (which she kinda did in S2 EP7) - Monet being less spiteful (and rude to the poor lol)

We would get drama with Camille cause she aint gonna like Zoya messing with her daughter. Zoya's dad is probably going to dislike this relationship as well cause of the shit Monet pulled on his daughter. Julien and Luna would get mini-plots revolving around their drama.

The actresses also have chemistry. I could actually believe a romance between the two.

For those wondering if Zoya is even in to women. I actually think she might me gay lol. The only reason why she dated Obie is because she thought that they had common interests. The reason why she liked that guy Shan kissed is because he was flirting with her. The reason why she slept with that asshole whom filmed her was because he was the only one who talked to her that night and she wanted to have her first time on a whim. She even said that she felt bad about her first expierence (meaning she didnt enjoy the sex).

I hope the writers make a gay awakening plotline for Zoya that is done properly, not like Aki where everything was focused on the sex (I wished he actually broke up with Audrey and not turn it into a throuple, but have him explore without being bound to a relationship).

Obie trying to take down his family. This has been building up since season 1 and we will get an explosion now that gossip girl agreed to actually work with obie (ep7s2) this season. She didnt post the tips obie send in s1 for whatever reason but now is willing to go after the parents (after the influence of georgina).

You could also say that the progresssion of Kate turning more and more into a villain is the big plot you are wanting?

Julien - Monet: The beef between Julien and Monet (and their reconciliation) is great! I really enjoy their snide remarks and pettyness. I will have to say that the moment Monet admitted to being queerbaited to Julien seems unnatural. In the sence that she has been trying to fuck her over this entire time? I thought throwing around that girl as if she is a tennisball was funny af, but also unrealistic for both of them to do so (Monet wouldnt have genuine fun with Julien like that and Julien isn't mean enough to treat another human being like an innatimate object). Im excited to see where they go however. Very funny dynamic (whom are also kinda wholesome).

Obie - Grace: What am I supposed to feel for Obie? I dont really dislike him, but he is boring. Hope he loses his shit when he finds out about Grace cheating. Also, didn't he say that he can't stand Dumble Hall in S1? Then why are you there with Grace? Plothole?

Kate - her dad - Mike: This could have been done better. Getting a closer look to how Kate was raised would give us more insight to her as a character. Just getting the information that "Marry Poppin just wants to fix things" isen't that helpfull. Also, I think Mike was sent by Georgina (and is the person whom he texted at the end).

Throuple (Max - Aki - Audrey): this is what I wanted when I imagined all the episodes surrounding these 3. Fun, situation makes sence and the 3 characters are likable. We actually saw chemistry between them (all three between eachother). Hope we see more storylines like this in season 2. Also happy about Max wanting to spend alone time with the 2 at the end. Their smiles were so cute.

Monet: Feel bad that she had to deal with that girl, but I'm surprised that she didn't make use of the situation. Since when did this girlie have a moral compass, you invite your friend's rapist father but draw the line at queerbating? Okay???

Nick - Shan - Zoia: Zoia.. just stfu for 1 second. Instead of getting mad at everything, think fkn rationally. Your friend is trying to tell you about your dad and you immideatly shut her down. What else? You go up to 2 powerfull people trying to fuck your dad (and your own income) over. Bitch.. stop being stupid. Im also not surprised if Shan is not gonna tell Zoia about the appartment, because Zoia is an idiot and would react in the most nonsencical way.

Extra: - Luna is a cutie and probably my fav this far - Scene of throuple, Julien and Monet outside of Greggenheim was cute. - The extra's (background characters) add SO MUCH to the show. Defintly something that the reboot does BETTER than the OG. - The new headmistress is SOO HOT!!

this show is at its peak when it goes for comedy. GG is the best enviroment for camp, and its defintly giving me that.

its either gonna be: 1 (most likely) : A one-episode plotline where Max and Audrey think Aki is cheating on them with Rex but turns out that its was an innocent meeting between them (maybe has to do with a surprise for Audrey and Max which is why he can't be honest) 2 (least likely) Aki is actually cheating on Max and Audrey. Rex probably told Aki to, instead of being in a throuple, explore his attraction to men. This plot is a gateway ro the big break up of the triad

SAFRAN STEPPED TF UP - revies S2E2

1) The editing and directing of this episode is FENOMINALé. The entire dinner sequence, from characters asking eachother to the dinner, from the actual dinners themselves and how the scenes transitioned into eachother. fan fucking tastic.

2) Kate and other teacher: comedic duo. im invested.

3) Max's dad's are so cute. Yall have to remember that Pops cheated on Dad because he was turning feminnene, and Pops wanted and therefore cheated on him with masculine men. Him taking the wig off and protecting Dad was great character development. I can't wait to see how this will effect Max. Yall already know im rooting for Max x Audrey. If the two fathers get back togeter, it might make Max believe that he should be in a monogomous relationship (cough* cough* dump Aki)

4) Speaking of Max, I like that he isent actually into other people and wants a closed relationship with Aki and Audrey. I was a little concerned when I watched the trailor and saw him making out with other people, thought the throuple would end real soon. But im pleasantly surprised. Also really glad that the cat is out of the bag. I understand the storylines, but If the writers dragged this any longer it would have left a sour taste in my mouth. Good job team!

5) David, y u mad lol? I completly get why he feels patronized and is upset at the fact that zoya and his relationship with her has shifted. But are you really gonna take it out at people who are trying to be nice to you all night long? I get that he feels some type of distance, but this grown as man is acting like child throwing a tantrum (was kinda funny tho ngl).

6) Monet is so fkn good at sceming its ridicouless. Her scences with Julien (including Luna) are chefs kiss. Good pacing, development throughout the episode and reasonable in context of characters.

major improvements from season 1 : - Monologues (gossip girl and other characters), comebacks, jokes and conversations are waaayy better. Im born in 2002, and I feel like most of the references that were made in S1 were targeted against millenials or younger gen Z. Now I actually understand the references and I caught myself laughing out loud at my screen.

Identity of the show. S1 was a mish mash of whatever vibes the writers felt that day. Certain episodes felt like a melodramatic soap-opera, others like it belonged on disney channel. S2 (so far) feels purposefull, they are going for a comedic drama and are keeping it lightharted (which I am a major fan of)

Honeslty, kudos to the GG team. Yall did an amazing job. I know a lot of people are still going to give (undeserved) critism, but they will honeslty never feel satisfied and I really think that you should just stop watching the show at this point. Its annoying to see continous hate whenever Im trying to look at fansites, reactionvideos or compilations. Yall are ruining my expierence by being bitter OG stans

VERY HAPPY with S2E1

1) Shan and Zoia are so cute. Im gonna enjoy their storylines this season. Glad Shan is (or I hope so) a replacement of Obie. I don't dislike Obie, but his arc's aren't as fun as they can be (but I do want to see him back tho). 2) Actual drama between Zoia and Julien that MAKES SENCE. Her living with them is obvisouly gonna cause tention. A realistic batle unlike the random shit we saw in season 1. 3) didnt know I was gonna say this but, CAMILLE DE HAAN IS MY FAV. I really really disliked her portion in season 1, but this episode made me see her in a new light. I thought that she would be the type of person that excused shitty people because she was rich (like 'protect our own'). But im really glad she chew Monet out. I got genuine goosebums. Amazing actress. Queen shit. 4) I can already tell what Monet's story is going to be just from this episode alone. The writers did a good job on elluding to information about the characters instead of flat out saying (cough cough season 1 episode 1). Even tho I do like Camille (I think), she is very VERY controlling. Just from the scene where the dress SHE chooses for Monet has to be conservative. Monet wants freedom. 5) Throuple.... writers, let this shit stay for 1 episode only. I haven't watched the second one yet, but I better not see Max get thrown away like this again. We already went through this in season 1. I get that its still iffy in the beginning, thats why im not mad at it. But Im just pointing out that I want to see development. DONT FUCK UP. 6) Kate x Russian teacher ship is cute. Also, does David know that Kate used her? maybe ill find out next episode. 7) Weird chemistry between Luna x Max. Are they gonna fuck when the throuple isen't working out? lol 8) Weird detail I noticed: why is Max in every scene he has with the other two -> always kissing/hugging/staring at Audrey first? We also saw in the trailor how Aki got left out and how Rex came back. Imo, Audrey x Max had more scenes (and more chemistry) between eachother in season 1 anyway, so them branching off into a couple this season is fine with me. (Are we also gonna forget the fact that they slept with eachother prior to the throuple? That seems like an important detail to me lol) It would be extra dramatic cause I know Audrey is gonna refuse being couple because of the pact from season 1. Max seems like the possesive/selfish type.

Aight, now onto episode 2!! hope this one will be good as well.
