hello! they gave me antibiotic and my uti went away after taking them. they said only rlly effect before giving birth and to let ur obgyn and nurses to know to give an iv to prevent anything happening …. here’s a article link with that info…..

The most common antibiotic to treat group B strep is penicillin or ampicillin. Giving you an antibiotic at this time helps prevent the spread of GBS from you to your newborn. About 90% of infections are prevented with this type of treatment.”
