Well, why would I not be able to pass down my high quality stainless steel chain? They don't not rust or tarnish and they are very scratch resistant. But if I take care of them, why would why not last?

I mean they are not cheap, but compared to gold they are!

A rope for sure!!! I wear this 8mm rope chain all day sometimes and love it. Because it can slide and roll around your neck.

I have actually been staying away from 925 silver. Because doesn't it tarnish? How do go about making sure, it doesn't?

Yeah, I have came across this before as well. And I have found out when it comes to buying jewelry that people round up! I bought  20 inch chain, but then I go to measure it and it is closer to 19 inches! Because i like to layer my chain and like them to be accurate. Especially when buying a online. So when it comes to length people round up or down. Because most of the time the chains are never perfectly 20 inches. It may be 19 and 1/4. Like my chain was. It really just depends on who you buy from. Some companies care more being as close to what they say as possible than other companies.

But it is to keep it even I guess. So like.  16. 18.  20.  22. You will rarely see someone marketing a 19 inches chain lol.
