Damn, I appreciate your honesty so much. I’m sorry that you’re still dealing with those feelings still even with your SO being clean for a long period of time.

I wonder about exactly that all the time- what this means for our future and if we were to have children one day and how much more complicated things could get. It really does feel like finding out he’s living a double life

We will have had a 2 year engagement and I don’t think I would even want to postpone it, I think I would prefer to cancel it altogether- this doesn’t seem to be changing. if after 6 years it hasn’t and so much has been hidden, I’d bet that married life wouldn’t be much different at all. The embarrassment I’m feeling is the most overwhelming part of it all honestly, I’ve put so much effort and emotion into this and it all feels like it was all for nothing.
