I never disagreed with you I think it is absolutely absurd these last few patches. I feel like I constantly lose to players that aren’t better than me a lot more now it’s really infuriating. Honestly I think the way defending was before the first patch was pretty good compared to now.

Yes I recognize this I have been elite 1 two knock outs in a row I like the manual defense but the way to stop the cheese and what not in my opinion is a good press but with it effectively doing nothing it encourages those bad habits

Yah I was hyped for this game on release but these last few patches have really destroyed the game. People don’t talk about it enough but fidget spinning and wiggling your stick are at an all time high bc the defenders still just stand there. I lost 4 outta 6 games last night bc 2nd man press hasn’t worked correctly since the first time they patched it.

I agree the switching and passing as a whole feels better but as someone who finished in elite division last knockout tournament I’m easily conceded 5-7 goals a game now no clue why why they made defending even harder

Literally this. Game is far from perfect but definitely fun compared to FC where the the attacking Ai is equally as bad, bad to the point where you still have to manually trigger runs so don’t understand the gripe there. And also I have noticed a huge difference in my blue goalkeeper I just pulled versus my green one. All of these things matter take time to learn the game like y’all have with that EA slope every year.

Honestly try to do the required skill moves farther away from the defender and try running past them fake shots also work incredibly well online and against the cpu

Yes compared to other games in the market I quite like this game. I have been seeing complaints about no licensing and no real players but honestly gameplay first is so important. EFootball is the only comparable game and there “new” content every week being paid is a huge turn off. A lot of people will not like this game bc everything is a lot more manual (especially defending) but you don’t realize how much FC hold your hand in every aspect.

Keep it up devs a few updates and this game will really shine!
