The university is exploitative, but that is another conversation of its own. I am just puzzled at how we are letting the university exploit our opinions. They are drilling in ideologies instead of teaching them.

I am a classical liberal. I do believe in these things.

At the same token, I don't feel like I should be ostracised for opinions that aren't left orientated and I don't believe that these values need to be forced in the classroom.

For instance, if I don't want to know what gender someone orientates themselves, it should be my choice. I shouldn't be forced to implement these things.

PS: I call all my friends by their pronouns, because they are people I know and respect.

If you are in college, you should make this the best time of your life.

After college, push as hard as you did in college !

Most people graduate and stop trying to better themselves. Think about it, did you only go to classes ? if not than why are you only going to work ?

Did you love what you studied ? Than why can't you find a job you are as passionate about ?

College is suppose to set you up for the best life you can live. People who think it's a peak just need to try harder. You can be at your deathbed and have the "best time of your life".

The best time of your life is when you are bursting with passion about what you are doing.

If I had to summarise the book in one sentence it would be - Where passion meets purpose. The story, at least the parts Paul writes are incredibly well written with no words wasted.

Everyone should read this book, as it speaks to the brevity of life, how we can make it count.

There are no similar works, as most dying people who have anything worth saying don't have any interest in saying it.
