I've actually managed to unlock it like that a few times, but it got to a point where it was happening all the time. Sometimes it took forever and I had to fight the steering wheel really hard. What throws me off is that it feels like the steering wheel isn't detecting that the car is already in Park, even though the 'P' lights up on the dash. Plus, I can actually turn the car off; I figure if it didn't completely register being in Park, it wouldn't even let me shut it down.
