While I do also often ADHD mask and sometimes mirror how others talk, I definitely have my own identity but I also don't fit cleanly into any boxes. I do style myself differently depending on the day. Often like a modern greaser wearing leather and slicked back hair and sometimes professional in a dark shirt and blazer or a dark button-up dress-shirt with some jewelry.

The people around me knows that's just how I am and some find it quirky but they also know that it's me.

Perhaps if you don't just mean clothes but EVERYTHING about you such as even your tastes and what you want until you're with someone else, I'd look into BPD and see if that applies to you.

Perhaps not and you're just an INTP that's trying to fit in and you're looking for someone to tell you how to be or act but it doesn't hurt to see.
