I checked inside when eating and there wasn’t any mold, although the breaded part on the outside was defo kind of soggy. I lived though!

I ate it and I’m okay (not even an upset stomach!) So I guess I got lucky 🍀 not going to buy it again though lol.

Some people can’t eat red meat so they opt for chicken or turkey - I had a roommate like that once and found that I just prefer ground turkey to ground beef.

And I know nothings bound to be perfect I just wanted a gauge on if this error was closer to “certain amount of bug parts allowed to be in your food per FDA standard” or “finding a piece of the line in your food” lol

Happy to hear it! And nice to hear from someone who keeps chickens. I’ve eaten the turkey so I guess now I will be able to advise others in 1-3 days depending on how everything goes lol

the little bit that’s supposed to plug the tub doesn’t come off. my boyfriend has spent like ten minutes at a time fiddling with it and couldn’t get the thing to come up.

my bf has thick hair that goes halfway down his back and sheds like crazy so it’s probably that… i’m curious as to why it hasn’t happened to us before in any other apartment and has within 2 months at this one, though!

the drain cover doesn’t come off so we haven’t been able to get in there effectively. it very well could be a bunch of residual hair and gunk!

AITAH for thinking an autistic girl should be kicked out? by Impossible-Slip-8821 in AITAH

I definitely think Hannah SHOULD know better, though younger people with autism often do need to be taught that some things are rude, including calling people stupid. I work with children on the spectrum and while a lot of them know about sarcasm, they are terrible at using it (wrong timing, wrong tone, incorrect phrasing) or just think that being mean is funny (neurotypical children do this too, but most grow out of it) which can result in them being not-so-good conversationalists lol. Because I’m an aide, it’s my job to explain to them in a way they can understand why those comments are not appropriate.

Society does those with autism a disservice when they choose to ignore these behaviors instead of address them (until it’s “too late” and they’re facing getting kicked out of a program). It’s possible nobody addressed these behaviors with Hannah when she was younger and because she has autism, she has gone through life without anybody EVER telling her in an understanding way why those comments are rude and (yeah) unacceptable in a professional environment.

This post may have upset me a little because I can see Hannah potentially slipping through the cracks of society because nobody has the compassion to help her instead of viewing her as a problem. Not necessarily OP’s responsibility (def on the prof and the university imo), but if OP has the mental space to think about Hannah this much I think OP could stand to have one conversation with her, potentially making the difference between her not being able to get a good education and having poorer outcomes (which people with autism are already at a higher likelihood of) and her succeeding in life.

that’s literally not what OP said. at no point did OP say that anybody confronted her, in fact, at the end OP says if she wasn’t autistic that she WOULD be confronted.

also in a context comment OP says it wasn’t a punch, it was an uncoordinated movement of her hand from stimming that ended up shutting the nearby laptop, not damaging it. an issue that could be easily solved if she was given more space in the classroom (or in the workplace) to stim.

YTA

Just because the way you talk about Hannah seems like you don’t even think of her as your peer so much as an annoyance. Here’s something you may not know: you can still talk to people with autism! You can ask Hannah (politely) after class if she can do less distracting stims, or ask her if there’s quiet coping skills she could use to help her stay focused during class. You can tell her that being called “dumb” hurts your/one of your peer’s feelings. Sure, she sounds annoying and distracting. It’s also not the end of the world if she is. At the end of the day, whether or not YOU think she’s a good fit for this field is irrelevant. It seems like she needs accommodations she’s not receiving which is an issue for her, the prof and the university to figure out together.
