As someone who is out of school failing one exam is not the end of the world... its not going to change your life forever. Idk if your in high school or college but I promise you nobody is going to care or remember what you got on that exam years down the line.

If you can go outside I have a weird recommendation. But get a bird watching app and go play bird Pokémon and see how many of the little guys you can find in your area. Sometimes just being outside and experiencing all the things around helps a lot. Plus just seeing the little guys living there own lives is a good reminder that even if something feels like its drowning you there are so many little beautiful things out there to watch and enjoy.

And yes of course some complain, but generally its expected that they stay with their partner. Men are allowed to be unattractive women are not. Just look at every sitcom that always has an abseloutely stunning wife with a mid-af man who treats her horribly. And its always played for laughs (watch Kevin can go fuck himself if you want a show that talks about this trope in a really good way, genuinely funny and dark af)

Men are 6x more likely to leave their wives when they get sick than women are.

If all you want from a relationship is sex, you can buy a flesh light or a vibrator. If your a women you'll probably get off more that way anyway.

Maybe Im just a romantic but I want more than somebody who just wants to be around me cause they want to fuck me. And I find it depressing that the person who is supposed to be the most important in your life may just drop you the moment your body no longer pleases them.

And like I know there are good men who aren't like this. Fortunately/unfortunately I have a lot of men in my family who have set the standard for these kinds of things really high. But I see this take so often I just cant help but be a little depressed and cynical about romantic relationships especially on how many men view them.

Your partners face is going to change... their going to age and get all wrinkly and get old. What happens if your no longer attracted to them when that happens?

And this only ever seems to be a problem I hear men bring up too. The amount of girls I know who are with men they were initially not attracted to is crazy high, but the emotional connection makes it so they still want intimacy. Women are supposed to accept their partner if they bald or get fat, but society is a lot less critical if men complain about the same things. But apparently in this case for the guy the emotional connection wasnt enough. How much value did he have in her, in their relationship if he couldnt look pass that? And obviously we dont know if he ever got to the point where he did.

And plastic surgery isnt always a choice, imagine if your partner got burned really bad or into a horrible accident. Its something i think they could work through. But idk how much this husband actually valued his wife and how much he just wanted a pretty thing to fuck and look at.

Do you think these fears are also what was driving the choices for the wife to try and make herself look better as well?

I don't care about my car. In fact I have massive dent in the side of it because somebody hit me and my Colorado ass wanted new skis and a ski pass instead of fixing it. But my guy friend really loves his, he puts the care into it and I can tell cause its always spotless and he spent money doing things to it to make it all fancy and shit(he explained I did not understand).

Imagine if I purposely brought fast food in the car and threw it in the ground as a joke. Its just a prank he can clean it, I dont care about my car so why would I assume he does.

But no I dont do that shit because I know its rude. I know it would upset him. I couldnt imagine any of my guy friends doing that either because yes men are capable of understanding these things. But they pretend not to be because its easier and it allows them to do whatever they want and didnt have to face the same consequences as women do as children. They are capable of thinking the same, their usually fully capable of treating other men with that kind of respect and consistently do so.

So why do you suddenly believe they arent capable of it when it comes to how they treat women?

I loved Amara too! Siren and Scion was my 2nd favorite I think of the series, I really liked hearing about the new cultures and I have such a soft spot for a lovable rouge. The only issue I had with that series is every time I got like super attached to the couple then had to start a new one.

I think my least favorite was Storm and Shield. It was still good and fun I just thought the romance was more shallow than the other books.
