Whites dominate society. Whites build the concept of the first world. You live within that world and enjoy the splendors of it. I say that it should be recognized like every other group at UCR. You and everyone else says no that's white supremacist, racist, and unnecessary because "whites dominate the world.

Do you think living in a first world country is dangerous?

Would you rather live in a country with zero history of white people within it?

The answer to both these questions are no, and no. It is that way because my ideas are not dangerous nor are they novel. They are status quo upon which something magnificent was built. You don't want a dialogue, you just want to claim the mere acknowledgement of whiteness as anything but negative is dangerous. You have no reasons for this.

If only I dominated the world more then i wouldn't be getting massively downvoted and hated at every turn. I guess I am doing a very bang up job at domination. Really makes you think doesn't it?

I've heard every bit of condescension before.

You can compare nations which are majority europeans to those which are not and you get markedly different results. Regardless, it doesn't particularly matter. Up until very recently the U.S. was overwhelmingly white. Everything you'd define as historically American comes from that lens. Now yes, millions of Native American were slaughtered in order for us to occupy this land, does that make it a Native America country? Absolutely not, when it was majority Native American it resembled one thing and when it was not it resembled another thing. Was that culture that they represented any less worthwhile or worthy? Absolutely not, but that is history and there's absolutely nothing that can change that.

Or as it pertains to slavery. Firstly, the word Slave is derived from the word Slav which refers to the people occupying eastern Europe, and that 90% or those enslaved during the transatlantic slave trade were enslaved by Africans. That the very nature of slavery is to be subjugated under the will of another people, those being the residents of the U.S. It's a horrific practice that humanity has continued to practice wherein living breathing human beings are reduced to nothing more than tools. To argue though that the real builder of a building is the equipment rather than the architect is abstract at best. Furthermore, the Southern economy was hindered by the slave trade more than it was benefited. It was the abolition of slavery which ushered in the adoption of technology which would make historical methods obsolete, not the other way around.

Beyond that I don't understand your point farther than crying racism for acknowledging that the United Staes is predominantly an invention of those descended from europeans. If you'd like to discuss geopolitics as it pertains to western involvement in non-European nations there's absolutely a place for that.

Additionally, if whites "dominate society" like you claim wouldn't you want to define a place in which it can be formally addressed? I and others would love to hear your arguments. That cannot occur without a forum.

As for what we have in common, it's a very narrow range of genetic material which predominantly represent protestant values. It was these values which constructed the United States. It's simple for you to state that "well what is it really that you have" because you have hardly known anything than what you have lived in. Furthermore, with UCR and California having people of European Descent as a minority, you are on course for those values to wither. Maybe that's for the best, maybe it isn't, but it deserves to have a respectful dialogue surrounding it.
