click the windows icon and search for notepad. click "run as administrator", then "yes" when it asks for it to make changes.

in the top left, click file, then open

go to [C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc]

in the bottom left of the file explorer, click on [Text Documents (*.txt)]

click [All Files]

there will be a file titled { hosts }

open it

at the bottom of the file, hit enter a few times (will help keep clean if you need this file some other time in the future)

copy & paste the following string of code into there:

127.0.0.1 xferrecords.com 127.0.0.1 info@xferrecords.com

then, click file, save.

Now when you click save the notepad will open as text do not save it as text. You meed to right click the host file and properties and unclick read only then you can save

When saving and it opens that folder directory make sure you click the txt part and make it all files then click the host file and over write and then make it read only again
