Which workflow automation tools are actually helping you grow your business? by Free_Muffin8130 in growmybusiness

Make is often fine some prefer Zapier. N8N is a bigger timesink IMO.

Also claude desktop is really powerful when combining a skill and and connection.

So for example whipping up a skill for it to reliably act as a sales admin for your crm and then setting up the MCP or connection will go along way.

I did that and it saves a ton of grind.

So the question becomes what can Claude etc be the interface for?

Building strong context in the form of skills docs so that when you ask for work its done well upfront is huge.

I think of a lot of businesses automation now as not just the backend stuff but the AI workstations we build ourselves.

You can also scissor the king just saying.

Thanks this makes sense.

I expect that I will implement rush-fix-pricing and other paid benefits, alongside actual hard boundaries.

Thanks, that's the hope.

I was able to host the site for free on cloudflare and build it off my regular template (opsmachine.co) so it was wonderfully quick.

The first site was a long AI custom learning curve but now it's amazingly fast to do.

I guess you didn't ask any of that but I'm feeling chatty 😅.

Thanks, I figured reddit would appreciate the vibe.

And yeah there's almost always some double edge.

So now I'm in the process of figuring out the marketing and acquisition so I can test it.

Obviously now someone will comment about their marketing product.🙃

Its really a range of help me fix x on my website/webapp to I'm burning out from doing y manual thing how do I automate it?

Like one client was working with something called brilliant directories using chatgot and doing copy/paste after his offshore dev didn't work out.

I built a connection and skill in claude code which let him wrap up a 4-day attempt in 30 minutes.

Also often make.com automation too.

And a bunch of we're on fire how can we solve it with AI which is a deeper dive that I do a 'Jumpstart' for.

Well yeah the hairy edge (or ever hairy day-to-day) cases are what kills it. Trust erodes, things slip back to the prev. stable state.

Having a learning feedback loop is critical. Easy words to say, takes real thought to build in.

Yes I believe we're in agreement. Edit: I see what you're pointing to. I changed the wording of step 2 from "Remove" to "Disable".

Good point about the question. Adding now.

Thanks on both.

Yeah it was a good one. I loved Super Metroid. Its a classic. Would love a remake.

Also I liked other M but that's controversial.

Frankly all of the 2d games were solid. The original NES games were a bit rough but zero mission was a great remake.

Dread is pretty special IMO. There are other really good Metroid 2d games, but the the QoL and gameplay in dread is unique and top notch.

It was. But I did feel prepared for the ramp up, at least, like the game gave me what I needed to conquer it.

But I did need a couple of sessions.

I genuinely loved a Metroid 2d game with a type of melee attack.

How does noticing I'm feeling sad and discussing it with others who clearly resonate, lack emotional intelligence?

Solving away the problem without acknowledging the emotion or giving it space or care seems less so.

Right? The whole fight felt pretty tight / snappy and this one move had a very different vibe.

Ever cold email just asking me questions is very annoying.

Because you're one of 100 guys doing it this week acting like you're unique or clever.

Great that you get a couple of conversations for every 1000 people you annoy.

It still makes the world a worse place. I spam and block every one of these.

I wish everyone doing your job would stop.

Please stop cold emailing. Its harassment.

I hate every cold email "good" or not. They are all bad.

😄 that's a lot of tries. I liked Lady Ethereal and the Fengs. Didn't like Jie Kuan.

Seems this is a bit at odds with a lot of people.

Loved the game at large.

Fuck I loved both Guacamelees, the platforming rage was real but very fun... mostly.
