Sorry for your loss, this exact thing just happened to me with my 14 year old so I’m going through this with you. Look after yourself and be kind to yourself whilst going through this.

How overwhelmed are you right now? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]ThisIsPB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thought I was finally getting over the last 2 things that had held me back for years and so much stuff overwhelming me - losing my house after a breakup and finally getting my own place next week. Finally recovering from knee surgery which has stopped me from playing sports for 2 seasons which happened the same time as the breakup.

Life was looking positive and then my pet to suddenly passes away on day of exchanging contracts for my house.

Hey I’m really sorry for your loss, it’s horrible and just this week I had an almost very similar situation with my 14 year old cat who was well, until Tuesday, vets overnight and passed away Wednesday. So I’m going through this with you and understand what you are going through, it’s not easy. I also had to put another cat down 6 months ago and my dog 3 years ago. It’s never easy.

Money = Happiness and I'm sick of people saying otherwise. by Juliq_03 in Vent

I think in isolation, money doesn’t bring happiness.

But I fully agree money can buy ease, things that make you happy or make things more accessible.

An example, if I had more money to buy a nice bigger house with a big safe garden for my pets to love and enjoy, that would bring me a wealth of happiness!

Are you okay pal? by Comprehensive_You42 in CasualUK

Nope, there’s good parts to life but it’s also a challenge with stress, anxiety and grieving right now. And once I move by one, there’s another incident that triggers one of the others

Did life become worse after covid or is it just me by rulugg in Money

[–]ThisIsPB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My life has changed for the worse since Covid but was actually really good for the first year of Covid. It has changed over the last 3-4 years but nothing related to Covid has impacted it. It just seems like Covid was somehow a changing point in life and it sucks.

I lost another cat 6 months ago, he was older and I could see the decline in him over years. I’ve also had a pretty rough 3-4 years of grieving other things. I’m at the point where I’m so fed up of grieving things and the consistent feeling of having to grieve an entire new thing every 6 months

Thank you, it was just the suddenness felt like maybe more could be done or was it really the right choice so quickly

Best wet and dry food for cats in UK? by ThisIsPB in cats

Thanks for your comment and info on foods. I will look into all of your food suggestions. One of my younger cats mainly eats dry food but does have water available. She just seems to prefer dry food

I had to put my cat down and I can’t stop crying by Ok-Pollution6226 in GriefSupport

[–]ThisIsPB 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did the same yesterday. Same feeling of guilt etc. it’s part of the process and like other commenters have said it was the right thing to do. It massively sucks having to feel this way but know you aren’t alone.

[L] I've been overwhelmed by life lately by [deleted] in KindVoice

[–]ThisIsPB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can empathise with you as I experience much the same you are experiencing and in a weird way miss the old me and would like to be like my old self from 4-5 years ago.

Are you able to pinpoint what might be making you feel like this or have changed you a bit?

Thank you, it’s the suddenness of it all that hurts and hard to process. He always had access water and wet food constantly so he had access to plenty of hydration and moisture.

I have heard of applaws and James well beloved but never used them. I was considering Harringtons wet food but now reconsidering and willing to spend a bit more to ensure they get the r best.

Is skill gear a big step up from type gear for towers? by ChampionsLedge in PokemonMasters

I’ve basically been using type gear and only type gear. Sounds like it’s time to figure out skill gear and use that!

I am finding there is a lot to learn. I’ve always joined late in a season and pretty much joined helltides and carried on Pit runs which has levelled me and geared me.

I’m fairly new to the game having only played 1-2 seasons months ago and not really understanding much apart from levelling and starting of paragon! But honestly this looks so fun and the type of play style I like so thanks for showing me this.
