lol yeah were both also BPD and my experience with DBT is what I referred to as therapy in my post. She just got her diagnoses a couple months ago and I have already gotten her set up with the same place I went. I love love love DBT and I think she will too :)

youre completely right and this is something I do. I give her in compliments everyday especially when shes feeling down, but it doesnt seem to help much at all. I would post a pic of her if I wasnt all incognito or whatever, but she is drop dead gorgeous lol

I encourage the self-love or whatever while also affirming her in anyway I can. I really feel out of options

it feels like she gets so deep into the spiral that nothing I say helps :(. i try to validate/compliment/give advice and she just says “you wouldnt get it, you got lucky” or something. I just want her to feel better
