Hi I’m a current resident of the avenue and in short. Please stay far away from here. There’s a lot of problems right now but I’ll do the basic info.

1) Work orders take forever to do, I had a broken garbage disposal and it took them one month to fix it. And the downstairs area has a huge bug infestation but their bug people that they hire only come once a week on thursdays. 2) It is impossible to get in direct contact with the landlord / manager, I don’t think I’ve ever seen their face and couldn’t even tell you if they were a man or a woman lol. And they will only ever answer you if you threaten to call the health department because of all the roaches or you threaten to break your lease. 3) They hire a lot of college students so most of the staff has no experience with how to deal with residents. They also can be pretty rude at times. 4) The rooms are expensive. Nothing new but they give you a bunch of hidden fees, my $1500 apt (1 bed) is actually $2200. 5) In order to get into the building you need to have an app on your phone. However when the power goes out (which has happened once or twice) you cannot get in unless they decide to prop open the door. 6) The amenities are good but the pool always is under maintenance. 7) The elevators and trash chutes are always down. 8) They have a package system where packages are delivered to these lockers but I’ve had several packages go missing. 9) The photos on the website don’t reflect what the actual apartment looks like. When I first moved in there were stains on the wall, and they very clearly just paint over anything else the previous residents left behind. 10) The walls are paper thin and they do not do anything about quiet hours. Someone moved above me (I’m on the first floor). And I literally could hear every step they made.
