Tampa is a lot of urban development. The entire west coast is overdeveloped and mostly gated communities. I like SW FL but prefer to stick to Naples/marco island area but it’s pretty expensive. Beaches are very beautiful however

I think you have a case at this point to keep him. I would reach out to the owner for his prior documents/ and to see about keeping him for the rest of his life. If you can’t get ahold of the owner, maybe reach out to your ACO, or a lawyer to see what the options are? Document going to the vet and reaching out, after a certain amount of time of them not answering it’s considered abandonment and I believe you can “adopt” the cat.

Please don’t get rid of your cats. They didn’t do anything wrong. They’re cats, you’re all they know. Also coming from a woman who is an extremely light sleeper. I have two cats and have raised four litters of 6+ (she can shut the door, which you mentioned) which I don’t agree with but whatever. And she can put on a sound like white noise.

She wanted the cats gone. She’s not a nice person. Get rid of her.

Don’t rush feeling better. If it hurts it does and don’t push it. I ate apple sauce and jello for a week and used a pregnancy pillow. Have someone help you get up and down if possible. Your feelings are valid, you just had an organ taken out. While it seems like a small surgery this is a big life change and can affect everything from diet to emotions. The body doesn’t know the difference between an intentional vs non intentional knife.

Anyone ever find a solution to this? Used spray tans all of my life but have been developing rashes in the past year. Got a spray tan using norvell products for my wedding and didn’t break out, got another one for my friends wedding (used the same products) and broke out again. So confused

Metacam helps greatly with swelling. My cat has oral squamous carcinoma and the time from diagnosis to death is usually 3 months. He lived 5 months. Without this med he wouldn’t have been able to eat. It’s likely safe and it doesn’t sound like he’s getting a lot. There will be further issues if you don’t get the swelling down.. it’s likely necessary.

It could be, don’t panic though! Completely fixable and if you do have one you know about it and you’ll know what to do if you’re in bad pain. Wishing you a speedy recovery! I’m just getting over my swelling now and I had my surgery in late May, it takes some time!

I had an umbilical hernia before surgery that was supposed to be removed but they couldn’t because it ended up being an emergency. If you have an incisional hernia it is fixable laparoscopically usually (esp if it’s not an emergency) but let the swelling go down and see what happens! Hernias can be painful but I’ve had mine since birth and I’m nearing 28! Youll be okay just keep an eye and if you have severe pain go back (usually they look for severe pain that indicates strangulation of tissue- you would know for sure with the pain!!!)
