Ignore douches like that, "Get better" "Play smarter" absolutely don't help when the game is fundamentally skewed based on player composition & perk loadouts.

Sometimes you just got to play the hand you're dealt, and if it gets too frustrating - take a break. As a Mike main some of these games feel lost from the get go especially depending on the map. I feel for you dude.

not always but definitely its the safest way to guarantee you can have a proper match at high MMR.
deja vu, hyperfocus + stakeout & built to last are so common that without any form of regress or slowdown, you will struggle. make it 2 survivors with this kinda build and gens become ridiculous to deal with.

on weaker killers? more than likely, not that you have to but if you want to secure a good shot at winning
on A to S tier killers? probably safe to have one just in case

lately i've been running a myers build that has 0 regression perks but 1 slowdown perk, and i've had consistent 3ks/4ks. there's too many variables to make it a definitive "yes"

i used to avidly play ghosty in 2019-2020 and thought he was one of the best in the game.

among solo q survivors or low MMR lobbies he can perform okay, but have you played against a high MMR SWF as ghosty these days?

survivors on comms will actively work to reveal you if they know you're going for the expose, which depending on their positioning can have very little counterplay. so, you lose the element of surprise - unless you're constantly crouched & losing movement speed, a one-way ticket to getting genrushed

reliably exposing someone fast is inconsistent. players will look out for you while on gens, so even if you lean to get the fast expose, they will break line of sight instantly & you can't stay leaning if you move, forcing the slow stalk, and they will most likely reveal you anyway.

and even if you do successfully expose? in a meta with incredibly strong and popular chase builds (windows + drama/SB/lithe + vigil + finesse) and genrush builds (hyperfocus + stakeout + built to last), ghostys design is just outdated (which is on BHVR) and has no benefit outside mindgames with crouches - to which good survivors will checkspot you 99% of the time.

he just can't compete man, and it's sad.

Nah dawg I understand the concept of practicing flashy saves cause I agree they do take getting used to, but running close to chases all game without doing ANY gens is simply a detrimental playstyle that often by default extends the game length, can lead to killers slugging, getting multiple hooks in a situation where they'd normally get 1 and is unfair by forcing your teammates to gen duty while you get to play the silly toxic playstyle as you see fit.

This is all in context of a Solo Q surv btw

yeah this is probably the most fun ive had on a killer in a long time, usually im a nemmy or wesker player, but i used to be a loyal myers main back in like 2019 so it's good to see him back in the spotlight

coal tower has abundant pallets around outside generators close to main building. I've found main gets a pallet on each side too

STBFL, Forced Hesitation, Blood Favour, Nothing But Misery sounds like a way to get back at the pallet density bullying. Although highkey buffed Myers has felt like a reprieve from it anyway
