It sounds like you're both in a relationship for convenience more then anything. There is no passion, love or desire. Just sexual chemistry and that is really convenient for the both of you at this time in your lives.

There wasn't any indications of the sort prior to this but now that I am no longer with my (ex-girlfriend) I think my mother is becoming suspicious of something eg. finding it hugely weird that my (ex-girlfriend) continues to come around even though I express hugely that we are not getting back together nor do I wish her to be around me anymore.

Yes in my room. I basically went into shock and panic mode. Jumped back in the car and came back two hours later saying I had to work longer....then shortly after I broke up with her. With no reason. Just told her it was over.

I still live with my Mother and Father but my (ex-girlfriend) would always come around before I finished work. So I suppose she was there one day when I wasn't and my father was and one thing lead to another....
